Many people suffered from the typhoon sendong and a lot of people grieved from their missing and dead love ones. A calamity that no one can erase into our minds.
Many survive from the typhoon but it has the most dangerous epidemic and that is the Leptospirosis. Leptospirosis is transmitted by the urine of an infected animal and is contagious as long as it is still moist. Although rats, mice, and moles are important primary hosts, a wide range of other mammals including dogs, deer, rabbits, hogs, cows, and certain marine mammals are able to carry and transmit the disease as secondary hosts.
